Hi there! I’m Daisy—also known as Crazy Daisy or Daisy Doo, depending on how many tennis balls I've found that day! I’m a lively 7-year-old Lab mix with a big heart and a fun personality. My journey has taken me from being surrendered in Milwaukee to a loving foster home thanks to L.E.A.R.N. I was once under the weather but am now all cleared up and ready to find my forever family!

Here are a few important things about me:  
- I really enjoy food and toys, and I can sometimes be a bit protective of my favorite treats. It's important for my family to understand this about me.
- I’m managing early-stage arthritis and occasionally have some noisy breathing because of a thicker esophagus. I also experience a bit of anxiety related to feelings of abandonment and take some anti-anxiety medication for support. While I’m quite adaptable and house trained, I’d prefer not to be crated if possible.

Now, let’s talk about my favorite thing: BALL!  I’m obsessed with fetch and have located every tennis ball in the house. I zoom around like a puppy but need reminders to take breaks after playtime.

A little more about me:  
- I walk well on a leash but may pull when excited.  
- I get along with my foster sister but can be selective with new dog friends, so I'll need a slow introduction.
- I know commands like “sit,” “lay down,” and “shake,” and I’m working on being gentle with treats. 

I bark to alert when people approach. I prefer sleeping on the floor, but I might sneak onto the couch when you’re gone. Oh, and I might steal socks now and then!  

I’m dreaming of a loving forever home where I can be safe and chase tennis balls to my heart’s content. If you’re looking for a loyal and quirky companion with a big heart, I’m your girl. Let’s do life together—just don’t forget the tennis balls!
