Labrador Education And Rescue Network

About Us

L.E.A.R.N. is an all-volunteer Labrador Retriever Rescue whose mission is to save unwanted Labs and place them in loving forever homes. Our network of volunteers covers southern WI and northern IL. The funds we raise through adoption fees and FUNdraising are used to save more Labs. We depend on donations to bridge the gap between available funds and veterinary bills. We are a 501(c)3 organization which means donations are tax deductible…and greatly appreciated.

L.E.A.R.N. started rescuing Labs in 1999. As of the beginning of 2019, L.E.A.R.N. has adopted out over 2100 Labs. Please read some of our Success Stories.

Want to save a Lab’s life? There is a never ending list of Labs needing help. The more foster homes we have; the more Labs we can save. For more information on fostering and other volunteer opportunities, see our Volunteer page.

L.E.A.R.N. also strives to educate adopters and the general public on the importance of spay/neutering, training and humane treatment of pets. Please see our training and behavior pages.
