>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ADOPTION PENDING <<<<>>>>>>> Harley Update <<<<<<<<<1/6/13

HARLEY HAS BEEN A CHANGED DOG THE LAST 2 WEEKS OR SO.  HE IS COMING AROUND WITH THE GOOD QUALITY FOOD.  HE HAS HAD NO EAR INFECTIONS SINCE COMING IN AND HAVING THE INITIAL EAR INFECTION.  HE IS ACTUALLY MUCH MORE ACTIVE, AND LIKES TO ROMP AROUND THE BACK YARD A FEW TIMES A DAY AND DOES A LITTLE FETCHING.  WE'VE LEARNED HE SHAKES PAW AND SPEAKS WHEN ASKED. HE IS JUST A NICE, ADULT DOG. NO WORRIES LEAVING HIM IN THE HOUSE FOR HOURS AT A TIME LOOSE AND UNATTENDED.  HE HAS PROVEN HIMSELF TRUST WORTHY.  HE WILL NEED A PROPER COLLAR . . HE NEEDS SOMETHING THAT WILL HELP HIM REMEMBER THERE IS A PERSON ON THE OTHER END OF THE LEASH BECAUSE HE FORGETS.

PLEASE CONSIDER AN ADULT DOG.  THEY ARE WONDERFUL COMPANIONS.  ONCE AGAIN, HARLEY IS REALLY GOOD WITH KIDS....

I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays - I've been to the Vet a few times, and I am on the path to better health. My Foster Mom wants you to know that since I've been switched to a raw & kibble diet that consists of limited ingredients, my ear is MUCH better and has been free of infection.  Mom's working on my belly area, where I have a skin yeast infection - that's been a challenge for Mom, but we are working it. I will need to stay on a healthy diet to keep feeling great!

 Hi Everyone Harley Here !

This is what my foster Mom wants you all to know...

I am a Handsome Hunk of a Yellow Labbie...I am 7 years old and a REALLY good boy.  I am going to the Vet next week . . . I have a chronic ear infection that needs to be looked at and possibly controlled with food and diet (grain free ) & ear medication the rest of my life to keep it cleared up.  Check back later for more info on that. My foster Mom says its really important for someone to commit to that for me, because I deserve it.

I was raised in a home with 7 kids, so a kid-friendly home would be a bonus. As you can see, I really like the teenage son in my foster home and sit and lay by him through the day. I don't know what toys or bones are BUT love to just hang with my foster family. Yesterday we raked leaves, and I just sniffed around the yard and hung with my foster mom and son, and I was happy.

On the Labbie activity scale, I am about a 3-4, so if you're looking to just hang out & go for walks, I am the guy.  My foster home has 2 small dogs, and I am fine with them...no problem-o.  I do get excited at first when I see another dog, so hold on tight to my leash, but I am fine once we meet. I like to bark and let you know someones at the door - I really care about my family and watch out for them. Check back for updates on my status...

Love & Labbie kisses
