12/30/24 Foster Dog Chronicles…

Hi Frens! Today marks 4 weeks I’ve been at Uncle Curt & Auntie C’s house & boy have I changed since first arriving as a stinky puppy who kept going potty in the house. I am 100% potty trained & if UC or AC don’t come when I kick the bells, I now bark & kick them more & harder!!

I’ve also mastered tricks/commands: sit, down, lay down, gimme paw, other paw, easy, off, & stay (sometimes). I’ve also discovered my voice! I like to talk back by barking, when I don’t get my way. I also started this fun thing where, if Auntie C isn’t giving me attention, I like to nip her feet or her Dupa! She, on the other hand, doesn’t find it as funny! Her & Uncle Curt say the bad word, “NO” when I do that!

We’re still working on the “come” command, because if we’re outside, there’s too many wildlife smells for me to investigate for me to come! But if we’re inside, there’s too many squirrels for me to watch out the window for me to come!

UC & AC say I remind them a lot of their first born, some pup named Cayla Poochie Mama…I’m super smart (too smart for my own good they say), silly, stubborn, I have to be the center of attention and will talk back if I don’t get my way, & love food!

Oh & remember how Auntie C said I’m not allowed on the furniture? Yeah, you can forget all about that! With my cute southern charm, I manage to get my way!

Foster Dog Chronicles…

Hi Frens!  Amelia here!

Today was a monumental day…due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, I was in my crate for TEN hours (it’s really big, so don’t worry) & had ZERO accidents!!!  As Auntie C would say, “WOO HOO!!!”

You see, Auntie C had to go in to the office (Sears/Willis Tower), leaving at 6 am, & Uncle Curt left at 7:30 am, as he flew to Florida for work! By the time Auntie C got home, it was 10 hours after UC left!  But, when Auntie C came home, I had SO.MUCH.ENERGY.!!! ‍

After I ate, Auntie C took me on a brisk walk! But I don’t go potty on walks. So when we came home, Auntie C tried to coax me to go. As you can see from the video, I wasn’t having it!  But good news! When I’m in the house & have to go potty, I kick these bells that are hanging from the patio door! Auntie C is sooo proud of me!

I also am learning so many commands! I’ve mastered “sit” and now “gimme paw.” Auntie C is still working with me on “stay,” and “down.”  Whoever adopts me, will have to take me to training because I will make them sooo proud because I will be the star student!

Auntie C said she has a special surprise for me tomorrow! So stay tuned!  That’s it for now!!

Woof Woof

12/2/24

Hi everyone! My name is Amelia, I’m about 10 months old, and just arrived from New Orleans, where I would’ve been put to sleep forever if it wasn’t for LEARN & these people who call themselves Uncle Curtis & Auntie C (they said that way they won’t be tempted to foster fail, if they view this as babysitting! ).

I had a great first day…I quickly learned sit, & am learning to ring these bells by the patio door to go potty. Although, I did have some accidents in the house, Auntie C said that was expected, since I was found running around an airport in New Orleans.

Auntie C & Uncle Curt say I’m really smart, I walk really well on a leash, & am a happy-go-lucky, curious sweetheart! I’m going to ask Santa for a family of my own, one who is active & maybe has some kids who would play with me, I think I’d like them!

Well, it’s almost time for bed, nighty night!

Woof woof!!
