ADOPTION PENDING

Hunter here.  I'm a 3 year old chocolate Lab mix that was picked up as a stray in Southern Illinois.  I am so grateful to be in a foster home because I have heartworm, and it was no fun not having anyone to care for me and get me the proper treatment.  I have had my first treatment and must go through two more so I will be with my foster mom for a while, which is fine with me.

I have two foster brothers and two cats to entertain me and be my friends.  I am very sweet and love being with people.  If you pet me, I will never leave your side.  I'm learning to walk without pulling on a leash.  I love to go for car rides and sit very nicely in the backseat.

My foster mom took me to a Meet and Greet, and I really enjoyed meeting all the people and getting petted by them.  I get along with everyone and try not to be dominate with the other animals.  I have not been able to show off all my tricks because I'm on exercise restrictions due to the treatments for the heartworm, but once I get the all clear I will be able to show my foster mom how much I love to run and maybe swim.

If your looking for a big loveable Labbie, I'm your guy.  Remember, my name is Hunter. Please note because of on going heartworm treatment, I will not be available until the end of 2012.  He is available to sponsor to help offset his medical expenses.

If you are interested in meeting/adopting Hunter please fill out an application and have a home visit.
