Meet Forest. He's sweet 7-month-old pup is looking for a patient, loving forever home where he can continue to blossom. He is a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with gentle reassurance and time, his personality starts to shine. Once he feels safe, he reveals himself to be a very happy, affectionate, and well-mannered young dog.

He has warmed up quickly to other dogs and absolutely enjoys their company. He plays nicely with a neighbor dog of similar size and takes comfort in having canine friends nearby. At night, he does well in his crate as long as he can be close to his people, and during the day he settles calmly in his crate when the TV is on and he can hear the other dogs in the home.

For a puppy his age, his behavior is impressive. He is well-mannered, learns quickly, and has excellent potty habits, happily going outside to do his business. He politely sits and waits for his food bowl, showing great self-control and eagerness to please. 

His energy level is nicely balanced, playful and happy when it’s time to engage, yet calm and relaxed inside the home. With a little patience and a lot of love, this gentle boy will make a wonderful companion and loyal family member. He’s ready to find the forever home he deserves.
