Sweet Buffie is back and looking for her forever home after being returned through no fault of her own. While her age says “senior,” her personality says “young at heart.” She still has plenty of pep and joy for life and will happily prove it by chasing her favorite ball or wrestling with her foster sisters.

She’s a well-rounded, smart girl who spent time in training and was an excellent student. Her recall is fantastic, she walks beautifully on a Halti harness, and she’s good with cats. She also has all the makings of a great hunting companion — attentive, eager, and ready to work alongside her person.

She loves other dogs, though she does best with slow, thoughtful introductions while she gets comfortable and learns the routine. Once she settles in, her sweet, affectionate nature shines. She’s a world-class cuddler who’s happiest curled up in your lap for a nap after a day of fun.

Equal parts adventure pup and couch potato, she’s the kind of dog who’s up for exploring outside and then snoozing beside you afterward. She has so much love to give and is just waiting for the right people to give her the chance she deserves.
