Hi! My name is Charlie. I am a very handsome 3 year old Lab mix. My family moved and was unable to take me with, so now I am staying with my foster family.
My foster family has two teenage children who I love being around. I do like to jump when I am excited, so older children are probably better for me. I am currently living with two older dogs and get along well with them. I like to play with them and chase around the yard. I like a fenced yard. I enjoy being around other dogs, so a home with another dog would be nice. I love playing with squeak and crinkle toys. I don’t want the other dogs to have my chews or toys. This is something that I am working on.
I enjoy just laying around the house, but I do have bursts of energy during the day and want to play and go for walks. I sometimes pull on my leash when I am excited but am working on that. I am very good when my family is gone during the day. I am crate-trained, but my foster family has not had to use a crate because I am very good while they are away and at night.
My foster family thinks that I am very smart. I can sit, shake, and lie down. I do need to work on coming when called. I am a very sweet boy and would love to find a special family!
