Hello!  My name is Molly.  I am an 8yr old, yellow Labrador Retriever.  I am very young for my age; my foster mom says I act more like a 4-5 year old.  Speaking of age, I came to LEARN because my family was old, having health problems and didn't feel they could take care of me anymore.

I need a lot of activity - it helps me be good.  I'm good with all dogs - big and small.  In fact I’m a little shy until I get to know someone.  Men intimidate me, too, so they need to be patient with me at first.  I don't know about cats because I've never met one before.  My foster home has parrots, and I'm good with them especially since they throw food out of their cage, and I get to eat it.  I'm not so good with toddlers or babies because I get too excited and jump on them.

My biggest problem is my barking, I feel I have a lot to say, but if I get my exercise I don't bark as much.  I'm housebroken, I don't chew up things and I am crate-trained.  I walk well with a special collar.  My foster mom knows me really well because she was my Puppy Class teacher at 9 weeks old and continued to work with me as I got older.  Plus my family always let me stay at her house whenever they went away.  So she's known me forever.

I need a home with lots of activity, a yard to run and play in, maybe another dog and some older kids.  I just want a forever home where they'll love me with all my quirks and take me for walks.  An Obedience or Agility Class would be a good bonding experience for us so we could learn the same language and talk and understand each other better.

My paws are crossed that there is somebody out there for me.
