7/28/15 Not that I don't like my foster home, but why am I still here??? I am a very handsome guy that loves to play and be in the pool. I know my paperwork from the shelter says that I am 10, but the vet thinks that I am closer to 7 or 8 because of all the spunk I have, the shelters just make a guess. I would really like to find a forever home! Please don’t let my funny foot (that doesn't bother me) or the age the shelter gave me be a reason to not come and meet me!

6/1/15 I am still here looking for my forever home! I know the shelter I came from said I was 10 but I don't act or look it. I run, play, wrestle and chase! I do really well with females, but I can be choosy about the males (I tend to get a little more dominant and bark at them and try to mount) I am running a mile or 2 each day and really love to be with people. So don't let my age fool you, I have lots of spunk!

5/19/15 The specialist looked at the x-ray on my foot and determined I have osteoarthritis from an injury when I was young that wasn’t treated . . . it's not a birth defect. So the Vets says that since it doesn't bother me we should just leave it alone. I don’t show any signs of being in pain since I run, play and act like a dog younger than my age. The Vets suggest any pain that may come be treated with medication, physical therapy (water therapy would be even better) and TLC. :-)
So there isn’t any reason that I should wait to start looking for my forever home, I am ready to start meeting families. If you are interested in meeting me and seeing if I would be a good fit for your family, please contact LEARN!

Hi! My name is Yo-Yo, I am 10 years old but don't let that number fool you. I am full of energy and am a very happy boy.
I have the nicest coat, it is so soft, thick and shiny. I love treats and know sit and shake. I do have a bad tooth; so I will be having a dental cleaning to have that pulled. My only "issue" (I wouldn’t call it one but others do) is that my left front paw sits at about 90 degrees outward. It doesn’t stop me from running and playing, but the Vet put me on some pain management just so I don’t feel any worse after playing. When I have my dental I will have an x-ray done to send to a specialist to see if it is something that can be corrected, but if not, that is ok with me – I don’t know any different so I don’t mind it this way.
