Rusty is a yellow Lab, apx. 6 mos. old.
2/26/15
Rusty had his first puppy class tonight and spent most of the night in the corner, shaking. He did eventually sit and look around. I felt he did very well for his first night with all the new people and situations he was dealing with. He is much more playful at home and loves a good game of wrestling after dinner. My two boys have become very good at tag team to try and tire him out. The picture of him sleeping is after a round of wrestling, and he just had to sleep on his foster brother. Rusty is almost completely housebroken and does very well in his crate. He just completed his third round of medicine for his Whipworm and has 2 more to complete. Because of his fear of people and the Whipworm he will hopefully be available for adoption in April.
1/26/15 Rusty is very nervous around people he does not know, but he is beginning to make great strides and becoming more secure everyday. He is very sweet and affectionate and loves to be with you. He learns very quickly and knows sit, off, and come. He also loves being an inside dog and lying on the furniture . . . as you can see from the pictures. He has started to play with my dogs and loves to play tug and fetch.
He is being treated for Whipworm and will be neutered once he has finished the medicine. He is on "Hold" until he is given a clean bill of health which should be approximately 1 month. If your looking for a sweet little boy to join your family Rusty is your guy.

Rusty isn't up for adoption yet as he is still going through his evaluation period and being treated for Whipworm, but stay tuned for updates.
