Hello Labbie Lovers!!

My name is Chloe, and I am a 4 year old yellow Lab who is looking for a great home to run around in and play with all sorts of people. I have been in 3 different places in the past 3 years. My original owner hurt herself and could no longer take care of me. Another family stepped up to take care of me, but my allergies were too much for them. Now I'm with LEARN, and they are taking great care of me!! My allergies are under control, and I am ready to start my new life with a loving family. Will that be you?

I currently live with two other Labs (female and male) and two cats (both male). I get along with everyone now, but initially I did not want to be around the male dog. You see, I only lived with another female dog, so I didn't much care for this male that came sniffing around. So I would snarl at him to let him know that he was too close. However, after about a week, we were buddies. It was just the initial greeting that startled me. The cats pretty much keep to themselves, and I have no problem with them. I also live with a 2 year old human girl. She is so much fun to watch!! All the trouble she gets into...it’s a hoot!! She comes to me when I am lying down and puts her head on my side to give me hugs. It is the cutest thing!!

I am looking for a home that can give me walks, scratches behind the ears, and lots of love!! My allergies are seasonal (my foster parents think) and if I get into something I am not supposed to, then they might flare up. Sometimes if I eat something that does not agree with me, it might be due to allergies. For example, I ate the other dog’s food one time, and I did get sick that night and the next day because it had chicken in it...which is what I am allergic too. I have not had an allergy test, so it is hard to identify exactly what I have allergies to. When I'm on medicine, I take it very willingly...as long as it is in cheese!!!
