UPDATE 10/8/14

Hi everyone!  As you can see my name has been changed to Marshal which is a much better name for me.  I was adopted very briefly when it was discovered that I guard my house and yard from strangers coming in.  My new foster mom has been working with me, and I'm much better about letting strangers into my home.  I need a home that will continue to work with me and be the Alpha.  I love going for walks and playing fetch.  I'm very smart and learn quickly.  My foster mom thinks I would be a great agility or search and rescue dog.  I love having a job, and my nose can pickup any scent. I would probably do better in home that does not have a lot of people coming and going, and with someone who will be my leader.  If you're looking for a sweet, smart, and motivated guy that would be me Marshal.

 

Hey there!  My name is Shadow.  I'm about 1 1/2 years old and full of young Lab energy.  I love to run and play.  If you play fetch with me, I will bring the ball back to you right away for you to throw it again.  :-)

I am VERY smart.  I've already learned sit and lie down in first week that I have been with LEARN.  I'm learning to walk on a leash, and I am getting very good about letting my people know when I need to go outside.  I haven't had an accident in a few days . . .maybe by the time you meet me I will be fully potty-trained.

I am so excited to play and run that I just let my legs go flying, and I look kinda silly, but not as silly as the 4 extra toes I had removed.  Yep, 2 on each back leg, they looked like dew claws but they were too long and when I ran around it hurt me.  So when I went in for "the big snip," they took those off as well.  I get my stitches out next week.  As long as the Vet gives me the "all clear," I will be ready for adoption after that.
