#### MEDICAL HOLD ####  

Hi Everyone  

Let me introduce myself. I am Coco, a BEAUTIFUL pure bred  soon to be 12 year old chocolate Lab.  I  weigh about 77 lbs.  I am in the middle of heartworm treatment which means I have to stay quiet for awhile.  Heartworm treatment is expensive; please consider donating to my treatment and care.

My owner surrendered me to L.E.A.R.N., and it's a good thing they did so I can get my heartworm treated.  As the old saying goes, their loss is definitely someone gain (at least that's what my foster mom says). She would also like me to tell you, I don't have one lick of gray on my muzzle. She also says I am the most calm and well-behaved boy she's ever met.  I just really like to sit or lay by you and sleep. I have sat and played with the tennis ball right next to Mom, no chasing it yet until my heartworm treatment is over.

I know how to give paw and lie down when asked.  I can also bark or talk when asked. Oh, and my best trick, I love to dunk almost my whole head in the water bowl . . so m foster mom thinks I probably like water. We had storms the other day; no worries, didn't bother me in the least. I have been fine with my foster family's small dogs, no one knows about cats, though. 

I have been in the crate; I can take it or leave it…more leave it then anything….Take a look at my pictures, and let them speak for themselves. Yes; age is just a number . .  don't let it deter you from meeting me…give L.E.A.R.N. a shout out if you have been approved to adopt.
