Hello Labbie Lovers!!

My name is Rudy, and I am looking for my forever home. You see, I was picked up by a shelter, and they called LEARN to see if a foster home was available. Lucky for me, there was, and I was transported to my foster home where I live with two other 4-legged canine siblings, two feline friends, and a one year old toddler who loves to give kisses to me!!.

When I came to my foster home, I was VERY shy and timid. If anyone would raise their voice, I would cower down with my tail between my legs. It has gotten better, having lived in my foster home for almost a month now. I still am very shy around new people, and you cannot raise your hand to me quickly, as I will drop to the floor immediately in terror. My foster parents think I was not treated very well in my life before LEARN came to the rescue. We are working on this thing called potty training. You see, I am believed to have been an outside dog, and I went potty wherever I wanted without telling anyone.  My foster parents are working with me to try and figure out my signal that I have to go out.

I was so afraid when I came to LEARN that the first day I did not even leave a pillow that was left on the floor. I was very anti-social. But with the help of the other dogs around and my foster parents, I am coming out of my shell. I always seem happy when I'm outside. I frolic around and jump like a deer in the snow!!

I am looking for a family that is willing to give me the love I have not had, probably since I was born. I need a family who is caring, loving, and understands my background in order to bring my personality out. A family that will let me lie down with you on the couch to cuddle, because all I want in life is for someone to love me. Right now, I am about half way to 100% recovery. Will you be the one to take me the rest of the way?
