Hey Friends, I wanted to send in an update, now that I have new pictures. The one with the other Lab - that is Mr. Ed, my foster brother. I'm the one on the right. Lots of people think we are related. We might be since we are both from Iowa. I have been going for a walk in the morning, and my foster Mom said I do pretty good at walking on the leash. Another new thing is that I got to go to a Farmers' Market and to a pet store yesterday. Wow; that was really cool. So many people and other dogs to greet. Then last night we had a bunch of friends over for a campfire. I sure was tired by the end of the day. Hi everyone, I want to introduce myself. I am Cody and am 8 yrs. young. I am learning all kinds of new things because I now live in a house. I spent my entire life living outside. My foster Mom is very impressed with me as I am a very good boy in the house. I have good manners with the exception of checking out what is on the counters. At my new house I have 4 other dogs and a cat that I live with. I really like all of them. When we go outside I use a leash and stay right by my Mom. My nickname is Elmer as in the glue because I stay so close. I know a few basic commands but would really like to go to school to learn more. Another great thing is that I really like my crate and stay there when my Mom is at work. At night I either stay in the crate or in the bedroom with my family. I also ride very nicely in the car. I'll try to get more pictures uploaded later this weekend.
