I am a 3-1/2 year old Yellow Lab who had a bit of a rough start, but boy have I come around the corner and fast, fast, fast!!! I love to be where my foster Mom and Dad are all the time. I do not mind being in my crate, and I have become really awesome at doing the potty thing outside for 10 days now. My foster dad takes me outside off leash which is a big deal for him (not sure what that is all about). Last night he took me for a walk down the road, and we went no leash! My foster dad came home just glowing because I stayed right with him the whole time. Did I say I was a good girl or what?! I love to go for walks and am a good swimmer. I am not much of a ball chaser, but that is something my foster parents are working on slowly. I learned how to sit and give paw all in the last 10 days, I feel pretty proud of myself!
I am all about those morning scratches, and loves. Now let's talk Labby Kisses!! Man, I am the best in that category. I am so excited to see people that I cannot stop wiggling when they come in. My foster parents say that there is something called a cat that lives upstairs in the house, but I have no clue what that means. I might be better suited for a home that has no other dogs. My dad says it is probably because of my past experiences, but the good news is I love little kids and big kids alike.
I have a great appetite but am not allowed to have people food in my foster home. I do my best not beg, and my foster parents say that I am very good about it. (Got them fooled . . just drop something on the floor and watch the ol' Pooch-dini do her thing).
I just came back from the Vet and had a clean bill of health. I am top notch, A-1 shape. I am the right weight and what a pretty coat I have. You need to see my beautiful coloring, can’t get that out of a box I tell ya! You do not want to miss the chance to be my forever home, because just between us, I will not last long on the website, I know there is someone that will sweep me away to my promise land!!!!
