Hi!  My name is Copper.  I was given this name because of my coloring.  I am a big guy and am pretty energetic for my age.  I settle nicely in the house and want to be with you at all times.  I do bark when you leave me, but then I settle down and watch out the window for your return.  I am really happy when you get back and wag my tail furiously!  I also "talk" to you about how I missed you when you were gone.  I am really interested in rabbits and squirrels and birds and regularly chase them out of the yard.  I also have cornered the cat who lives here and bark loudly at her...she doesn't much like that.

I like to go on walks, ride in the car and just hang out with you.  I am looking for a new family that is sensitive to my barking when they leave and willing to help me feel secure enough that eventually I won't need to do it.  I also need to be protected from myself, when I see a rabbit outside, I really want to chase it out of the yard, so a yard with a fence would be good . . . but just going out on a leash is okay, too.
