Hi Everyone,
Hunter here. I just want to formally introduce myself. I am a handsome 5 1/2 y/o black Labbie, just about 70ish pounds. My mom could feel ALL my ribs when I got here, and she was determined to get me back on the road to a happy, healthy weight.
I don’t want anyone to be put off by my the white on my muzzle. I am a healthy, active boy. When I’m outside, I run ALL over the backyard, butt tucked, chasing my fur brother & sister. Mom laughs at me as I run around and throw the ball, or whatever toy I can find, up in the air. I love to fetch balls, but sometimes I just want to keep running and running . . . I may eventually bring it back. Mom says I’m about a 5+ on the activity scale.
I'm just lovin’ life. I am very good and well-mannered in the house. Occasionally I will follow my human family around and hang with them, or you might find me on the couch-being a couch potato! About mid-afternoon, me and my fur bro & sis get all goofy and start wrestling and playing (mom laughs at me then too). Mom has crated me, but I am trusted when she is gone.
I’m pretty good on leash, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to ride in a car. Once I settle, I just sit by the window with my tongue hanging out the side of my mouth. My foster home has NO cats, but I am interested when I see the Cat at the Vet's office. Mom's not really sure what I would do. So maybe a dog-smart cat might work.
Recently I was the greeter at a LEARN Meet & Greet at the local Petco. I was there for 2 hours and met lots of great dogs and people of all sizes.
