***Update*** I have now been to the dog park ,and I had a great time! I played very well and learned a lot. I came home nice and tired and took a long nap. I have been settling much better in the house now. As long as I have some exercise I settle very nicely while you watch TV or do other things in the house. I have also learned how to go up and down the stairs outside on the deck. I am not graceful about it, but I can do it! I still haven't been able to do them inside yet, but we will keep working on that. I still don't have free roam of the house when no one is home, but my foster dad fell asleep the other night on the couch, and I didn't get into anything that I wasn't supposed to. So I am improving on a lot of things. I am still looking for a forever home so if you want to get to know me better, please email in about me. Labbie Kisses, Cobain Hi Everyone! My name is Cobain, and I am a 1 year old guy with lots of energy; I'm ready to play all the time. I lived outside for my first year of life so I am much more like a puppy who is learning everything new . . . like manners when I am in a house, how to walk on a leash and my biggest challenge - going up the stairs. I am not sure about that, but I will keep working at it. My foster mom calls me her little piggy. That's because when I am really into sniffing something I grunt like a little pig! I also do pretty well with cats, I would do better if they didn't run because then I think they're playing a game with me, but I am slowly learning that too. I don't think that I would be good with little kids because I am big, and I don't realize that yet. I may knock them over even if I don't mean to. I am doing better each day on the leash, and I really love to chew my chewys. I am looking for a forever home that has someone who will play with me, give me lots of exercise and take me to training classes. I am learning something new every day because everything is new to me, but I am a smart boy. With some extra time and patience with me, I will get it.
