Hi, everyone--My name is Mazie, and I am a very sweet, petite 8 year-old chocolate Labbie. You may have seen Mocha on LEARN's website; she is my mother, and I inherited my adorable looks from her. We were both so very lucky to have LEARN save us after our owner died. I've been in my foster home now for a week, and I'm settling in. As you can see from one picture, I have found the couch, where I like to take naps after playing a little bit of fetch outside with my foster brothers. Playing fetch makes me so happy that I jump up and down with joy on all four paws, and I have a pretty nifty trick: I can toss the ball back to you! In the other photo, you can see how CUTE I am in my little red winter jacket. That's my foster sister with me. We hang out together, and she's helped me get over missing my mom. My foster mom and dad describe me as a snuggle-bug, as I do like to get myself comfy and will curl up beside either of them when they are reading. At night, I sleep on a bolster bed next to one of my foster brothers, or else I sleep on my foster parents' bed, but I need to ask permission first. I don't need to be crated when my foster mom and dad are gone for a few hours. I am a very good girl they tell me! I am still a little afraid of meeting men, but I am doing better. One step at a time, my foster mom keeps telling me. I would love a forever home that is fairly quiet, as I don't like a whole lot of commotion. But if you shower me with love and praise and enjoy taking walks with me and playing a little fetch, I will be your devoted companion for life.
