Hope here. I Love my name because there's so much hope for me now that LEARN took me in. I was owner surrendered to a shelter because I am the victim of divorce. I am a pretty yellow girl (a bit over weight) between 8 and 10 years old. I'm not real active but I do love to be loved and give lots of love back. I love my foster brother. His ears must be dirty because I have to keep cleaning them. I walk great on lead and love to ride in the car, just open the door and I'll jump right in. I have great recall, so if I'm out and about and you want me, just call out my name and I'm right there. My foster mom has me on a diet and I can tell that I have already lost some weight. I'm starting to feel much better about my self. I get along great with other dogs and don't mind those furry little things (I think they call them cats). I would be perfect for a home that isn't too active or for a senior who just want's companionship and a good walk. I don't like thunder but I will tolerate it (guess I have no choice). I don't use a crate (my foster mom can't get me in one) but I have never destroyed anything in my foster home so my foster mom leaves me go where I wanna go (hmmm, sounds like a song by the Mamas and Papas). I just had a sty removed by my eye and am doing great. The stitches come out in 14 days. I'm good with taking pills because right now I'm on antibiotics due to a UTI. All my foster mom has to do is wrap them in some cream cheese and I swallow them right down. My foster mom took me to the lake today but I'm not much into swimming. I did go into the water up to my bellie but that's about it. Then her great nephews came over 8, 6 and 2. I really liked having them here. They really liked me too. If you're looking for a girl who has lots of love to give, look no further, here I am.
