UPDATE!!!!

Hi Everyone! You may remember seeing me posted on LEARN’s website many months ago when I first came into foster care.  I had injuries sustained from an auto accident, so I wasn’t available for adoption back then.

I am elated to say that I am doing well and ready to find my forever home. I am fully grown at 34 pounds, so I’m a small girl.  I am 1 ½ years old.  I love to run & play, especially with other dogs.  There are 4 other dogs in my foster home & we all get along.  My BFF is a 1 year old yellow lab.

There are also two cats in my foster home and I get along with them although I do chase the younger one sometimes because he wants me to!

I will need some formal training with leash walking & recalls.  I notice everything around me like birds flying overhead and sun-dried worms on the road.  I am a very curious girl.  One of my favorite past-times is to snuggle with my humans.

I am small enough that I can sit on your lap and put my head on your chest or shoulder.

Medically speaking, I’ve had surgery & rehab to fix the worst of my injuries.  I still may walk with a limp at times or I may hold up either of my rear legs if I’ve played too hard or too long.  Mostly, when you see me run, you won’t see anything unusual.

My ideal family has another dog & possibly a cat in the family, a fenced yard, kids with dog experience, and a desire to help me be the best dog ever.  If you would like more information about me, please ask LEARN.

Miss M

Midnight, an extremely loving girl, looks like a “mini-Lab.” She weighs 33 pounds and loves playing with Holly, a yellow Lab twice her size. Does she have a better disposition and personality or a cuter face? That is the question! Once L.E.A.R.N. is convinced Midnight’s therapy is working, she will be seeking that special family who will help her keep her muscles strong through proper exercise and good, supportive nutrition.  Midnight promises to give much more in return. Thanks to L.E.A.R.N. and to her very dedicated foster home for enabling Midnight to begin a new and happy life!
