Dear Santa

My name is Splash and all I am asking you for, is a forever home for Christmas.  I am about 4 years old and was picked up on the strets of  a small town in Central Illinois and taken to a shelter.  Soon my luck changed and I came to LEARN where I have been safe, warm and loved.  That is what I want in a forever home.  You see if you raise your voice to me it scares me and if you make quick movements with your hands of arms, expecially if you are holding something in them, I am terrified.  Hopefully my new home will understand; so I probably should not have little children there.  Dogs and cats are great.  I love to play with my foster brothers and sister, and the cats that I have met aren't very much fun, so I leave them alone.  Maybe you could make sure they have tennis balls and bones, too, if that is not too much to ask.  Those are some of my favorite things.  Oh, Santa, I almost forgot, I love to cuddle in a lap and give lots of kisses and maybe if there is a place in somebody's bed, too!

My foster Mom says I am a very smart little boy and have learned to sit and sit and wait to be told OK before I eat (this was a really hard on to learn).  I heard about going to school to learn other things too and that sounds like a lot of fun, because I want very badly to please.  My tail wags a lot and my little be-hind goes right along with it.  I am a very happy boy, a good natured boy.

I try hard to be good, but sometimes I just can't help myself.  The kitchen counters call to me; to check to see if there is anything up there to eat and I also love to grab paper towels and Kleenex from tables and eat them, too.  Santa, I promise to try to be better if you will only find me a forever home for Christmas!
