Meet Oscar, a friendly and energetic 10 month old male chocolate lab mix.  He came to us from a southern Illinois shelter via an older gentleman that decided a puppy was too much for him.  Rumored to have been kept outside all day and in at night, he is learning to be a good family member.  House training is going well.  Manners and basic obedience skills are being worked on and have improved tremendously in the last week!  Oscar has a neutered scheduled and will be available after that.  He is currently living in a multiple animal household including dogs, cats, chickens and horses.  He can be a little too friendly with the cats and has learned some life lessons on how to behave appropiately.   Oscar loves a good snuggle on the couch and playing with other dogs.
