✨ Maddie Update! ✨

Hi furiends, it’s me, Maddie! I’ve been working really hard and I have sooo many new tricks to show off — I can do paw, sit pretty, sit & wait for food, and even leave it! Foster mom says I’m super smart and such a good listener. 

I do stairs just fine (I’m a pro now!), but I’ll admit the basement stairs at my foster family’s house are kinda spooky… so I skip those. 

I love playing fetch and tug with my foster brothers (tug is my FAVORITE game!) and I’ve even learned how to swim!  Walks are the best too — I go about 2 miles with foster mom and maybe soon I’ll get to make more friends at the dog park!

My foster parents say if their work schedule was different, they’d “foster fail” with me… I don’t totally know what that means, but the way they say it makes me feel extra loved.

I’m a sweet girl who loves being near my people, I don’t bark, I don’t counter surf, and I learn super fast when there are treats involved. 

That’s my update for now — thanks for cheering me on as I get closer to finding my forever family!

Hi, I’m Maddie! 

I just turned four years old and I’m looking for my forever family!

A little about me:

•  I’m fully potty trained (yay me!)
•  I know how to “sit,” and I’m learning more commands every day
•  I walk gently on a leash and take treats oh-so-politely
•  I love to cuddle and snuggle with my people

I currently live with my foster brothers, who are older (10 years old). I love to play and zoom around the yard, but I’m still learning that not every pup wants to wrestle as much as I do.

I don’t like crates—they scare me—but I do really well when I’m left out during the day or night. I’ll just curl up and wait for you to come home. I’m also learning how to go up and down the stairs. I’ve mastered going up, but going down is still a little spooky for me.

Because I love my people so much, I get sad when they leave and run around looking for them until they come back. But once they do, my tail wags nonstop because I’m just so happy to see them again!

I’m playful, sweet, and full of love. If you’re looking for a loyal cuddle buddy who also loves to to take walks or runs and playtime in the yard, I think we’d be a perfect match.
