Beacon is a spirited, field-bred Labrador who is ready to become your new best friend! As he approaches his 1st birthday at the beginning of September, this energetic pup is eager for an active family that will commit to his training and can match his enthusiasm for life.

While Beacon had experienced some occasional urine leaking in his previous home and has seen our vet about it, this behavior has not been present in his foster home. He has shown that he can hold it through the night and remains comfortably crated for up to 5-6 hours during the day while his foster family is at work. With a little patience and training, he’s sure to thrive!

This playful pup has a boundless love for adventure and exercise. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors or playing fetch, Beacon is always up for fun. He has a knack for finding interesting nooks to investigate, so be prepared for some amusing antics! If he’s left unsupervised indoors, he might rummage through places he shouldn’t, seeking out his next adventure—or perhaps a hidden snack.

Beacon is making strides in his training. He comes with impressive leash skills, knows how to heel, and has mastered many obedience commands. With ongoing training, he will continue to develop into an even more well-mannered companion.

If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who will fill your life with joy, laughter, and plenty of outdoor fun, Beacon is the perfect match.

Beacon loves swimming and is particularly enthusiastic about dock diving. Additionally, he enjoys playing fetch, which makes him a perfect companion for outdoor adventures.

Unfortunately, Beacon was surrendered by his previous owner due to a urine leaking issue. We are currently in the process of identifying the underlying cause and will provide treatment as recommended.

Beacon is up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He has a neuter appointment scheduled for August 22 and will be ready for adoption shortly after that.

Currently, he resides in a household with multiple dogs and cats, which demonstrates his adaptability to different pet dynamics.

If you’re a family that leads an active lifestyle and is willing to provide Beacon with the love, training, and attention he deserves, he could be the perfect addition to your home!
