Hi all! My name is Elsa….yes, like the princess. I am an 8-10 week old lab mix with very typical puppy behavior and many labby traits. I like to fetch and love to go on my daily walks. I am learning to walk on a leash and most of the time, I do pretty well. I am pretty easy going-at least for a young pup-and usually listen when corrected the first or second time. I know my name and “come” and am kind of startng to figure out “stay”. I am a bit timid with new encounters but once used to them, I am fine. I have been allowed to be off leash while in my foster family’s unfenced yard and have done well. I go in a crate when no one is home during the day. I am not crazy about that, but I see my foster brother go in his and that helps. I still have to figure out the going potty outside thing (sometimes I am too distracted by playing) but I hear foster mom say that I am young, so that will come.

I currently live with a Golden Retriever and a yellow lab mix and absolutely love them and love playing with them. I would do well being an only dog too, because then I could get all the cuddles and kisses….oh, did I tell you how snuggly sweet I am? Foster mom loves when she picks me up and I just lay against her shoulder. I hear foster mom say all the time what a good girl I am and how happy I will make some lucky family. I just need a family who will teach me all the things and be patient because even though my foster family says I am wonderful, I am still just a young pup and learning.
