07/23/2021  As Cinder's foster mom I want to tell you how sweet and gentle this girl is.  She likes all dogs and people. She is really grounded and has no fears. She does like attention and can be a shadow. A few weeks ago she had a urinary tract infection and started having accidents in the house, which have been resolved. The infection is now cleared up, but I had a concern over the amount of water she was drinking. LEARN decided to do blood tests to ensure that everything is ok and it is. She does very well in a crate. She settles very nicely in the house and can have plenty of energy to play as well. She loves to retrieve and play with toys. She has chased my cat, but not hurt him. Depending on your cat, it may or may not be an issue to be in a home with a cat. My cat runs, which makes him a lot of fun. Cinder is still waiting for a family of her own. If you take a chance on meeting this girl, you will fall in love.

06/26/2021  Time to let you know how I've been doing this past week. I have some really fun foster brothers and sisters, 3 Labs like me and a Boston Terrier. We get along really well. I met the family cat and he is so much fun to chase, my foster mom tells me that is not the proper way to play with him. I've been learning new things like come and sit. When my foster mom calls me, I come running as fast as I can and I am fast. I usually get a reward for coming so fast. I love treats and I will work really hard to get them. I don't take things that I'm not suppose to have and I don't check out the garbage either. I'm a really good girl in the house, I know my manners and I am very calm. I love being touched and can be a little wiggly when you pay attention to me. If you leave the house without me I do howl a bit, I just want to be with my person. I love toys and fetching. I don't mind playing with my toys by myself, I can throw them around and pounce on them. I sleep on my own bed at night in my foster parent's room, with my foster brothers and sisters. I sleep all night long. It's really fun here, but I need my own family. I would like to have my own person to pay attention to me, play with me and go on adventures. I know that person is out there.

06/21/2021 **** I made a long trip to get to Illinois. I started as a stray in Mexico, who was rescued into Texas. I will tell you more about myself as I get familiar with my foster family.
