4/14/21 We are still getting to know Antonia but so far she is a super sweet girl! She's more on the cautious side when meeting new people but takes only a minute until she's all wiggles. But with kids she is instantly in love. She greets new dogs cautiously and very submissively - she tends to roll over and bare her belly until they say hello. She's respectful of my resident Lab who doesn't like to be jumped on. And she is learning that the cat's make fun playmates. She loves all toys - including the ones we call shoes :) She is very curious outside, especially of birds. She likes to sit and watch them flit around. She has an adorable coat - slightly wavy down her back and tail with some brindle on all 4 legs. I have an inkling she may have some hound in her. So far potty training is going great and she sleeps all night in her crate.
4/11/21 We welcomed Antoina to L.E.A.R.N. from Pets Going Places yesterday. Mom was found on a street corner in Texas, taken in by a good samaritan to give birth. Pups were born 1/31/21, and taken care of until it was time to find them homes. The good samaritan had mom spayed and is keeping her. She will be ready for adoption soon once her vetting is complete.
