11/16/2020, Just a little update on me. Being kept outside, all alone before I didn't know what I was missing!  I am basically a puppy in the form of an adult.  I never got the chance to learn how to be a dog so I am learning basic commands, how to take social cues from other dogs (I don't understand that other dogs may get tired and want to stop playing) and that I don't have to be pushy to get attention, people will stick around and keep loving on me. For the most part I leave cats alone, I play well with other dogs and love everyone.  I ride well in the car, you can take food and toys away from me without issue also. Most importantly, I need a home that is active, I need to get all my energy out of me a couple times a day and a walk just isn't enough.  So daycare, a family that has a runner in it, someone that will take me to a dog park, something that will consistently get me loads of exercise each day regardless of weather is a must.  Because of my energy levels I don't think small kids would be a good fit, not that I would try but I may knock them down.

I was just neutered today so I need to recover from that and then I think I will be ready to start looking for a home. Please let L.E.A.R.N. know if you would like to be added to the list of people wanting to meet me.  

~~~~~on hold ~~~~~ Sonny is an active 1 and half year old yellow lab. He came to us through a neglectful situation having lived his life outside chained up. As you can imagine he needs some exercise to burn off energy and build some muscle. Plus some basic obedience skills which his foster home is working on.
