Hi Everyone! Maxx here again! I wanted to let everyone know that I have overcome almost all of my shyness. What I have left is just a bit of head shyness that I am sure will go away with time and trust building. I recently found out that I love men, women and kids equally and I willingly come to you when I am called. I have the CUTEST little prance in my step and love to play chase. I am always looking for a pet and will climb onto the couch and snuggle in with you for a movie. I am a little guy at about 45 pounds but have a big boy bark. **************************************************************************** Update 4/9/2020 Hi there Maxx here. I have been with my foster family now for 6 weeks. I have stopped having accidents in the house and I feel secure in my surroundings. I come when called, sit, stay…I’m learning to walk better on a leash. I am still afraid of people and it takes me at least a day to warm up to strangers. My ideal home would have another dog and a fenced yard. I love love love to be outside and sit on the deck or just run around the yard.
Hello my name is Maxx. I'm a 1½ year old neutered male Lab mix. I came from Texas where my family was moving and could not take me with. I'm lived with a 5 year old female lab, 2 cats and a bird. I am a very good boy and I weigh 41 pounds. I love to play with my labby sister and Jasper the cat. I'm getting used to a routine now including going in my crate when told. I eat in my crate too. I do need some training like leash walking, down and sometimes sit. I take treats gently and love stuffed toys and bones. I need work on my shyness and timidness. It took me several hours to allow my foster mama to pet me. Now we are fast friends and I follow her everywhere. I'm potty trained but have had some accidents, I just need to learn the new routine. I am healthy with all my shots. Please come visit me and maybe you'll be the right family for me. I'm a love bug.
