5/6 Update:  Yesterday I went to an event that was raising money for canine cancer research, and because it was Cinco de Mayo they gave all the dogs sombreros to wear!  I think it went very well with my spiffy tie.  What do you think???

Its been a few weeks since my last seizure so I am hoping that we are on the right meds and dosage at this time.  Paws crossed!

3/26 Update:   I had a seizure yesterday.  It was the first one I’ve had since being on meds. The Vet says that we will increase the dose and see if that helps.  So I am going to wait another week or so before I start meeting families.  Just want to make sure I don’t have another right away. Hopefully this will be my perfect dose, and I will get to my new home soon.  ~ Chance

Good Day!  My name is Chance.  I am part of the Retrievers and Redemption Program.  I am a big boy coming in at about 90 pounds, but I am a very gentle guy who will do a great big Labbie lean into you and look for some love. 

I am 3 years old and was surrendered because I have been having seizures for over a year, and the kids in the house were afraid of me because of it . . . but I wasn't given any medication!

I am now on medication, and in the almost 2 weeks I have been with LEARN I haven't had one seizure!  Of course there is always the chance that I will have another one, but the medication seems to be working as of right now.

I will have another check up in about a week to see where my medication level is.  If it is where it should be I will be ready to start meeting potential families!  

If you are willing to give me my medication each day, then I am willing to give you all my love.

Are you willing to give me a chance?  Get it???
