7/16/18 Hi Lab Lovers, I'm Junior. I haven't been able to send a message until now cause I was working on me. I had to lose some weight (I'm now down to a svelte 123 lbs), get a couple really big tumors removed and my teeth cleaned. That all took a lot of time, so sorry for the delay. In that time my foster family really got to know me. So here's a bit about me. I'm a big muscular 10 years young guy. I'm strong, and I know what I like, but I have a heart of gold that really wants to make you happy. I'm active and like walks and play time with my foster brother. Wrestling, fetch and tug are my favorite games. I like to carry toys around (especially on my walks) and be near my humans. Sometimes my foster mom calls me her shadow cause I just like to be near my humans. If you want to sit on the patio and relax, I like that too! I just want to be where you are. But I don't need to be crated at night or when you're not home (I don't fit in most crates), cause I take that time to nap. I like my foster brother, but would be fine if you wanted me all to yourself. I've only met a cat once, and wasn't much interested in it. So if you want to get to know me more, let's talk, or take a walk around the block and hang out. 6/3/18 Junior is settling in quite nicely at his foster home. He has lost 5 lbs since coming in and has learned all sorts of new commands. He is one smart guy! He's a bit of a velco-lab and likes to be around his people but does well without being crated overnight and when we're not home. He gets along well with other dogs, children of all sizes and adults. He loves a walk around the block and is a perfect gentlemen on leash. His favorite things are; carrying his toy (Oink Oink) around, laying on the front porch watching life go by, and light wrestling with his foster brother. But look out, he's got some bounce in those old bones and loves a good game of fetch and tug. Junior has a dental cleaning and the removal of 2 large tumors scheduled for this month. Once he's healed from that he will be ready for adoption. We will be continuing to work on losing some weight and getting back into shape this month. So stay tuned! 5/22/18 Junior is a 'hunk-a-hunk-a-burnin' love... He is a very happy, lovable 10-1/2 year old stud. Junior came into LEARN after his "owner" died. He has some VERY LARGE (hopefully fatty) tumors that need to be looked at which is the reason for his medical hold. *Please no applications/inquiries/e-mails until off medical hold.
