Cocoa is one of the nicest dogs we have had the pleasure to foster. She has a "Mother" quality to her that has a calming effect on our current other foster, Kiki, and our previous rescue, Reggie. She will take toys and food from the other dogs, but demonstrates no aggression or has ever shown teeth. She will sit at our feet when she needs to go outside or if the water dish is empty/dirty. She has torn up some boxes and gotten into the recycling container. She has also carried a full bottle of ice tea. So supervision is recommended when she is out of the crate. She has no problem being crated and will curl up and sleep or chew on the proper chew toys/bones. We initially thought she could not bark, but in the last couple of weeks, she has barked once or twice from excitement or to respond to a neighbor's dog. She is a very quiet dog and would make a great addition to a family who is willing to work on her walking on leash. (She pulls and wanders on the walk).
