Hello, my name is Olivia, and I am about 7 years old. I was originally in a place that shut down for many reasons and then sent to a shelter. From there a wonderful lady took me home to foster me. However, I was so unsure of the world that all I did was bark at her. So she called LEARN. I have since been living in a home with someone who has helped me come out of my shell a little, but I still need time to adjust to new people, places and things.
I learn a lot from other dogs and feel much more confident when I'm around them. I really need another dog in my forever home. I don't necessarily need or want to play with them, but having them around helps me a lot. I like to be in my safe place (bed or kennel) when I am unsure of something, but I will come out and observe from a distance until I trust something new. Most of all I like to be with my person. I love to go for walks and run around the yard. Maybe I could hang out with you in a fenced yard while you are gardening or inside while you watch TV.
