PENDING ADOPTION Hello Labrador Lovers!! My name is Zach, and I am a 12 year old black Lab. I came to LEARN because my owner had to move and could not take me with him. Did I say that I am 12 years old? Do not let that scare you away; I act like I am 7 years old!! I currently live with another dog, a cat, and two young human people (under the age of 5). They help to feed me, let me outside, and bring me back inside. I sometimes turn a little too quickly and knock over the younger one, but I don't mean to be rude. When I first met my foster parents, my previous owner had me off leash by a busy street and interstate highway. I listened to him because he was my daddy. So I can be trusted with someone I know very well. I haven't been off lead with my foster parents because I am not trusted yet. I am sure eventually I will be able to do it, but during this transition phase we keep the leash on for safety purposes. I have not been on a walk because of this cold weather. So I haven't been able to show any manners on a leash. I did great in the car when I came to my foster parents' home. I was very curious when I hopped out of the car and did not snarl or growl when I first met the other dog. I initiate play with the other dog when we are outside.
