Hi everyone! Willie here again with an update and great news! ... I'm ready to find my forever home!
You might remember that I'm 7 years old and was surrendered to LEARN when my owner passed away. :( The first few days in my foster home I was pretty nervous, but I adjusted really well. I am a super great car rider and a rockstar leash walker! I love going for walks and am very well-behaved while out and about. I stick in my own yard, too.
When I was surrendered, I had some really itchy and infected skin. That has been cleared up with medicine, but I'll more than likely need to be on my anti-itch medicine long term. So I need a family who will provide me with that.
I would also love a home where I can have a crate. I LOVE my crate! I don't even mind being in there when you need me to stay out of your way. I love to be the center of attention, especially in the kitchen, but if you need your space, I understand and will gladly take a rest in my crate.
I would do better in a home with no small children, because, well…I like their toys. I am in foster with three of them, and I love to put things in my mouth (I can't help myself around all these fun toys!), and I can get a little excited with loud noises or a lot of craziness.

Special Needs: Willie is pretty deaf. You have to be close by or really yell for him to hear you. He also has a lot of skin issues we are working through which may be from scabies (waiting for test results back) but allergies as well. He will more than likely need a maintenance med for itching and need a grain-free diet.
