Lab Lovers! Want to see your loveable Labrador or Lab mix companion in an upcoming calendar? Submit a photograph. We are always taking picture submissions year-round.
For a chance at getting a monthly header or cover photo, the photo can only be horizontal and be at least 6MB, which equate to an approximate pixel size of 2400x3600. Set your camera before you take the shot. Don't edit photographs in any way. For smaller inserts, the photo needs to be about 2MB or 1200x1500 pixels. If possible, please avoid using the Flash on your camera. Outside photographs are best because of the natural light and less clutter in the backgrounds.
Don't forget to get those seasonal photographs, whether it is an outdoor photo that shows snow, fall colors, or summer flowers, or the various holidays: Christmas, New Years, Valentine's, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, or Thanksgiving.
Please submit photographs to: calendarpics@labadoption.org. Please also include the name of the dog, who gets photo credit, the adopter's name(s), whether or not the Labrador or Lab mix is a L.E.A.R.N. alumni. We won't take photographs of other breeds or if people are in them. The Labrador doesn't have to be a L.E.A.R.N. dog.
