Update:
Hello Everyone,
Sorry you haven’t heard from me in a while. I had a few things going on. First off there were the holidays. On Christmas Day my foster mom and dad took me and my sister to a family gathering. Boy there were a lot of people to pet me. Also some snacks fell on the floor, I just had to do my part and clean them up. I wanted to check out the buffet table & garbage but mom & dad kept an on eye on me. Oh well it was a lot of fun.
Then all of a sudden Bam, December 30h I went in for surgery to repair a torn ligament on my knee. So much for celebrating New Years Eve. The first few days I was a little uncomfortable. Then my foster mom put a sweatshirt on me to keep me warm. You see most of my back end was shaved and it is Winter in Wisconsin, I was getting cold. I am doing better now. I was suppose to go get my final x-ray earlier this week but was put off until next week because of the weather. Once the doctor checks out my x-ray, I hope I will be on the road to rehabilitation for my knee.
Just a reminder, I am a 5 year old female and love lots and lots of kisses & hugs. I am house broken, crate trained and walk well on the leash. I will also wait at the door when we go outside. Think Spring!

My name is Mocha,
I was a lucky girl, rescued from a shelter. I was a casualty of the economy and my first parents couldn’t keep me any longer. Then a nice lady by the name of Julie rescued me and took me to my foster parents. I really like being in a house and sleeping on my own bed. I get a foster sister too. We have fun playing around the house and going for walks. We walk together really well for about 20-30 min. Unfortunately, I have a bum left leg. That is being checked into by a vet check soon. Possibly a tear in my knee. My foster mom says I’m a real tropper.
I have really good manners, know commands like sit, lay down, shake and wait by the door. I love riding in the car, you hardly even know I’m in there because I’m so quiet. My only downfall is that I like alot of attention. I think once I feel comfortable in my forever home, I will be more settled in.
Oh you have to look at the top of my head I have two spots that look like antlers are going to sprout, my foster dad says I look like a nubbin buck. I don’t mind. He brushed me the day after I came to their house and gave me a bath. I enjoyed all of that attention and felt so much better.
Thanks LEARN for giving me a second chance.
