Hello Labbie Fans!!!

My name is Buford and I am a young lab approximately a year and a half. I was picked up from Animal Control after my family left me in a house. I was there for a little while, going to the neighbor’s house for food, and then retiring back to my empty house. I am so glad I was picked up because I am having so much fun with my foster family!! I get to romp around with 2 other dogs, be fed on a regular schedule, and sleep on a cozy bed at night.

My size is on the smaller side, so my foster parents say I have S.D.S. (Small Dog Syndrome). This syndrome causes me to act like a big dog. My foster parents think I have been picked on by other dogs, so I have to act big and stand up for myself. I love to play with the other dogs that are in the house, often times batting at them with my paw to get them to play. There are also these smaller creatures, called cats, which live in the house too. They are not afraid of me when I approach them and I just sniff them and then walk away. The good part is they do not even hiss at me (the other 2 dogs they will hiss at).

I am completely potty-trained and ride great in the car. We haven’t gone for walks yet, but I am sure they are much fun. I am up-to-date on all my vaccines and am looking for a great home to call my own. Will you be that home for me?
