Hi everyone,

My name is Iris. That is a new name for me as I was found running stray in Illinois and was picked up by the animal control folks down there. I am one of the lucky ones who have made it to a rescue group.

I am about 2 yrs. old and am a tall girl. I might have some Blood Hound in me as my ears are longer than typical labs ears are. I am house trained and I get to have free reign of the house.  Sometimes I sneak up and sleep on the couch – shhh don’t tell my foster Mom.

My Mom tells me that I should take an obedience class so that I can keep learning. I already know a few of the basics like sit and down. I think that going to school sounds like fun.
