Hey, everyone look at me, it’s 4 yr old Lola,
Can you tell I lost a few pounds in the mid-section. Just like my foster mom said I am going to be a lean machine in the near future. Just keep me running, fetching, retrieving and swimming like I have been and I may be recruited to be on the cover of ‘Just Labs’ magazine even though I am a mix. In addition, I just got an all-around vet check up and all looked good in that department. Things are sure looking good for me.
My foster mom said I am a really sweet, loving dog. I know all my commands, which is a big, big deal my mom said. She said I pretty much became part of their family with no interruptions. My foster brothers Koda and Gunner and my other running buddies (all male by the way) thought a bit differently but they know better then to mess with us females. After all, they know how smart females are since I learned how the ‘dog door’ worked w/in 24 hours even though I am potty trained. My mom said that was a record !!! Woohoo!!!
I run off leash and let me tell you I do run with the ‘big boys (I mean big dogs)’however I always come back to one of my family members for reassurance or when they call my name. Speaking of them, I love, love, love kids. More the better in my book. I was also told that I have the most impressive ‘handshake’ they have ever experienced.
So, I do come highly recommended from my foster mom, after all, I was her FIRST TOP DOG, I mean foster dog and she said she will always have a place in her heart for me. I must be a good catch if I didn’t scare her away from fostering again if LEARN needs her. I heard my mom saying though that she CAN wait for the day to find my forever home but she knows that the sooner she finds that forever home, the sooner she can help another. Hey, if they get to experience what I am experiencing I’m all for it !!!
Lola (aka Lolita)
