Cozmo lab 2063

Hi everyone,

My name is Cozmo and I just turned 10. I was surrendered by my only family because they were splitting up, and nobody picked me to go with them. Wow, was I scared and surprised. I woke up with my family one morning, and that evening I was sleeping in a strange place crying for my family.

I am a very good boy, and I heard my foster mom say I have “no faults”. I live with my foster mom, lab foster sister, a cat and feathered dude who whistles at us. I love them all. I like to chase and bark at the cat but I’m playing. I don’t play much with other dogs, but I love to be in a pack with them and foster mom.

I am a big boy, (102 lb) but understand, I am NOT a chow hound nor do I beg. Since being in foster care, I have lost 10 lbs and have 5-10 to go. We eat very healthy here, even the feathered dude.

I know how to sit, lay down, off and all of that stuff humans like. Actually, I’m a big baby with perfect manners. But here is what I did……I was playing at the dog park, trying to keep up with the pack, and my back leg went blewy…I tore my ACL. I had my surgery to repair my ACL and now I’m on the road to recovery. I am 3 weeks into my 12 week rehab. I guess you wouldn’t be surprised to hear I also have a thyroid problem. But hey, that’s small potatoes; I get this cheap little blue pill daily, no big deal. My last check up gave me a good T4 results (that’s doctor talk for thyroid panel).

I am a very active boy, but I have to take it slow, even after my required 12 weeks. That’s because I’m a big boy, and until I loose more weight, and get my manly frame back in shape with washboard abs, I can’t be stressing my body out. I am looking for a forever family to live out my golden years.
